Tennessee Board of Social Work CE Information

Accepted Approvals

ASWB ACE

Impact CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers as set forth by the Tennessee Board of Social Work.

(a) Each licensee shall obtain fifteen (15) continuing education clock hours relative to social work during each calendar year.
(b) Ten (10) of the fifteen (15) hours shall be in social work.
© Three (3) of the fifteen (15) hours shall be in professional ethics.
(d) Two (2) of the fifteen (15) hours shall be in either social work or professional ethics.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers can only obtain 20 credits via Distant Learning.
Licensed master’s social worker can only obtain 16 credits via Distant Learning.
licensed baccalaureate social worker can only obtain 12 credits via Distant Learning.

All licensees must complete a minimum two (2) hour Board approved training program relative to suicide prevention at least once every four (4) years.

Impact CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
