About the Course

The underlying mechanisms of suicidal ideation among former prisoners of war have rarely been investigated. The present study examined a hypothetical sequential model in which the interplay between war captivity and loneliness were examined within the context of PTSD and subsequent suicidal ideation.

This course is based on the article, Traumatization, Loneliness, and Suicidal Ideation among Former Prisoners of War: a Longitudinally Assessed Sequential Mediation Model created by Jacob Y. Stein, PhD. et al. in 2017.
